After an eventful  journey home (slight traffic delays,detours and saving distressed birds) we are all home,washing on and discovering weird small bruises in funny places!!.
All the kids faced different fears or challenges and learnt that 'they can'.
Being the first time at Manor in Wales,was nothing unusual for the kids but for the adults,it was the same Manor feeling,felt like Manor but was just somewhere different.Time wise there is nothing really in it (if you use a sat nav correctly) and the kids (and adults) behaviour was good enough,that we have booked provisional numbers for next year.
As usual we shall review the activities,clothing list and timings etc to assist Y5 next Sept.

Journey Home

We have all packed..(80 bags etc into 2 coaches is MUCH easier than 70 into 1)

The kids get so personal development this week,that helps with their life journey towards secondary.
They have tried so many new skills which may open up natural abilities.
They have represented the school very well,which has enabled us to book future attendance at Manor Adventure and keeping part of the school history on going.

Busy Morning

Oh what a busy morning!.
All packed,cleaned rooms,tidying,breakfast and onto first activities.

As we enter the last night at Manor,the children are tucked up in bed,sleeping after putting in lots of effort and learning lots.
It is amazing what they actually learn in social development,believing in themselves and knowing 'they can' this week.

I must remember to put a title in the heading!..
If you don't want any  of the clothes used this year or it will be your last child at Manor, PLEASE WASH the unwanted clothes and bring them in to school and we will use them for future emergency spares!!....

Activities Day 4 after a great nights sleep and hearty breakfast..Some very wet and dirty clothes for you all..the smell is a gift that keeps on giving..;)

Another evening on way

Today has seen the first time we have a lake challenge...involves climbing,zip wire across the lake after pulling themselves back in a boat.
Lots of more challenges and tired children through effort but they are remembering that eating helps feed the brain and gives you heat.

Down by the river

Well we are down by the river and the sun has come out.I can't believe our luck weather wise as we have only had two mini sprinkles of rain....OK not a sun factor 50 sun but still!..
Energy reserves being tested but normally by lunchtime Wed,they realise what we have been saying about eating,drinking and sleeping are right.

Early morning

Finally re booted the wifi.(they are not used to so much blogging and tweeting).
Day 3 and we are off on the lake,up climbing walls and fencing..avoided the on guard joke;)..
Very impressive camp teddies and we don't even learn that this year!!.

Activities

Mr Johnson says he will do almost anything for the school but..there is no way he is blogging,tweeting or doing anything apart from Monkeying around up there.It is high!! 
You should see their faces!!..Picture evidence but apparently they want a volunteer to show that the rope can take the weight!!!!...

Wifi

Managed to find the secret wifi signal and password...shhh..also have had the first tooth of this year,whether it will get back in the packed bag will be anybody's guess.
We have told the applicable child that the Welsh interest rate will be higher if the tooth actually makes it home......was that ok???.

Evenings Activities

Without a pause,some groups straight on the water (so have for shower after) and archery  (so they see the target!!)..How close are these targets...any old sweat Manor goers (evening Mr Youd) would just laugh at how close these are!!
The others are up ropes,abseiling and climbing.:)

Great location.

Thr Wales Manor Adventure is very contained and all the activities are closer thus saving time for the activities..Now have to find the wifi code and/or the best signal!!!...Of course I have no issues climbing as high in the courses...just for the signal;)

2015 Trip

Will all packed up in the rain bu the sun is out on way to St Fagans Museum for Lunch.Quick 45mins lunch walking around  the site and back on the road for the journey part that is single lane..with a capital S!!

First 2015 Post

Morning,As the trip rapidly approaches,we have the final parents meeting on Thurs Sept 10th at 6pm at the school.
All the staff and kids have been working hard at school to make this year another sucess:)
